This is day four sprouting fenugreek and fennel seeds.
Here is my sprouting set up. Primitive but quite functional, I assure you.
here is a comparison of dried fenugreek seed and 4 day sprouts.
The fennel isn't sprouting but I'm going to give them a couple more days. They don't seem to be rotting, either.

I love sprouted fenugreek! I get a zesty sprout mix that includes those seeds as well as some others. YUM~

ReplyDeleteThis will be my first time having sprouted fenugreek or fennel. The fennel doesn't seem to be working. Boo.
ReplyDeleteKombuchachic: I've heard of sprout mixes (salad in a jar) but haven't made one yet. (makes note :)
Valerie: yes you do!
EM: they will probably go into a salad. I might toss some in a stir fry or vege steam, see what they taste like with a little heat added :D
