Breakfast was the usual smoothie. Banana, apple, supplements, kale and half an avocado that was turning brown. I didn't get a photo but it looked pretty much like yesterday's anyway.
First thing this morning I fell down and skinned my knee
On the right in this photo is the scar left over from my staph infection. The scar is on my hairy shin and the bandage is on my knee right above it.
yee-ouch! I was going out to turn on the sprinklers in the front of the house and slipped on the sidewalk. Luckily, I caught myself and mostly landed in the flowerbed, but my knee caught the sidewalk and split open. ow, ow, ow. I have an ice pack on it. ow.
I figured I should sit down for a while but I didn't, instead I taught myself how to play a song
That went well.
THEN I had lunch
I made a salad
Creamy Cinnamon Apple Salad
2 apples chopped in the FP
2 carrots chopped in the FP
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp raw vanilla powder
1 tbs mild seed cheese (no onion or garlic)
1 tbs Vegenaise
You could leave out the vegenaise and then it would be raw but I was craving the tangy zip of vegenaise today.
I'm planning on baking a vegan sausage and cheese pizza for dinner. I tried to reach deep down inside myself and find the strength to stay raw but I have some seitan going bad in the fridge and it needs to be done.
I will eat raw again tomorrow. It's only food :)
