Irish Soda Bread: Easy Quick COOKED Vegan Bread Recipe

Preheat oven to 350F. Grease and flour a loaf pan.

Ingredients

Wet:
1 cup almond milk
1 tbs acv
mix together and set aside.

Dry:
2 cups flour
1/4 cup rolled oats
1 tbs flax
1tbs sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1 heaping full 1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt

More water for mixing if needed

Mix all dry ingredients. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in the "buttermilk" (almond milk and vinegar mixture). Stir until it's about biscuit dough consistency. Add more water as needed

Put the dough into the pan. You may need to spread it to the corners, it's very thick dough.

Bake at 350F for 1 hour or until golden brown on the top and it makes a hollow sound when thumped.

  2. Thanks for the comment on my blog. Sadly been so busy lately haven't had time to do any baking (I am sooo bad at baking I have to set lots of time aside even for the most simple recipes.) Will let you know once I have made it :)
