The family came and went, presents were opened, liquor was drunk, grievances aired. There were feats of strength. It was a great Festivus, all around.
I've got the pole down and almost all the dishes and laundry done. The boy got a much needed room makeover from his Grandma. it's like Bakugan threw up in there.
Seriously, he loves it and thank you VERY much!
He has gotten up and made his bed carefully every morning so far and he LOVES sleeping in his room.
We ate food, too.
I ate vegan and they were nice enough to go vegetarian for the weekend. Cheese and milk but no actual meat, I was impressed and grateful.
There was vegan lasagna with spinach, roasted veges and cashew cheese
Vegan Pizza with basil, tomato, olives, seitan, cashew cheese, grilled onions and mushrooms.
There was also a night of chili and beans and rice and tortillas but I don't seem to have gotten a photo.
So happy new year, everyone. I hope you had a wonderful time and ate good food. Let's see where this year takes us, huh?
