I have a slight fear of praying mantises (is that how you pluralize that?). Last year I saw one sitting out by the porch and it turned it's little head and then lunged at me and chased me up on to our porch.
ReplyDeleteLater on I was leaving the house for something or other and when I got outside I realized I had forgotten something inside. I set down my purse and went in the house, when I came out, that mantis was perched right on top of my purse. When I went to shoo him off, he jumped at me again.
Who knew? Is it possible for a mantis to have rabies? Because if it is, this was certainly a rabid mantis.
hussah for the praying mantis!!! they are from god and they do pray!!! yay!!
