Green Mint Smoothie :: Wild Edibles
Mint, melissa, lettuce and ruby chard all picked this morning from the garden and the yard.
Blended with about 5 dates, 2 tbs oats (makes it really creamy), 2 tbs lemon juice and two frozen cubes of wheat grass juice.
Ahh, mint. So refreshing.

Frozen cubes of wheatgrass... you're ingenious! I steal so many tips and tricks from you.
ReplyDeleteThank you for this wonderful inspiration. I used to live for many years in the country side and grew a lot of things. Now I live in the city, working a lot and have forgotten all these ideas about food. Thank you for reminding and inspiring me to go back to a healthy diet.
ReplyDeletethis picture looks awesome in full size. i'm so gosh darn thirsty right now!
ReplyDeleteEM, I wish i could take credit for the cubes but they are a commercial brand, Evergreen, i think. The man got them as a sample, he's working on a single serve packaging idea for the product he works with. Cheers, though, it is a good idea to do at home.
ReplyDeleteIAM, thank you. I'm glad I could inspire someone to do something. Now if I could only inspire my kid to brush his teeth, lol! :)
Johnny, You need a smoothie. I can tell.
