I've been writing lately

Kokopelli has fascinated people for thousands of years. He is a fertility diety usually depicted with a hunched back and playing a flute. He often has antenna like protrusions from his head, and in older versions of him he is very insect like.
Kokopelli has been venerated by Native American cultures in the Southwestern US. Kokopelli presides over childbirth and agriculture. He represents music and is a trickster god.
He takes part in many rituals relating to marriage and is often depicted with a consort who is called Kokopelmana.
Kokopelli presides over the reproduction of game animals and is often depicted in the company of animals such as rams, goats and deer. He is often associated with sun-bathing animals such as snakes or water loving animals like lizards and insects.
Kokopelli rules the domain of agriculture and chases the winter away with his flute, ushering in the springtime and the rains.
He is sometimes shown carrying a pack on his back which may contain seeds and baby humans and animals.
