We got all the plants up the hill today.
Here they all are in the back of the pickup. Yep that is the whole mess of plants from the back porch.
and here is the fence we found on property and built a makeshift "deer deterrent" enclosure.
The beautiful "big beef" tomato plant. We had to dig it up. It's got LOTS of tomatoes on it and I just couldn't leave it behind.
I'm gonna miss that lawn...
We also dug up the peppers that were in the planters out front. I wanted to take the barrel planters but The Man said we had to leave them, they came with the house. Boo.
Tomato, 3 kinds of peppers, eggplant, onion, celery, zukes and cukes and there is a ginger in there, too.
You would be able to see Shasta if it weren't so cloudy.
Nice view. Southern exposure, full sunlight all day. Hopefully it will inspire the plants.

See my two rescue dogs? On the left is a coyote I got at Kfalls goodwill and the right is a boxer I found at 45th and Geary in San Francisco (they are both ceramic. I also rescue Furbies and other abandoned electronic pets. Keep em outta the landfill and remove those batteries!).

@Earth Mother hahaha! They told us on 8/31 that we had 30 days to move. We found a suitable house and moved all out stuff out well, in 15 days. Not bad for just the two of us. Thank goodies we had grandparents for babysitting!
