Then around ten it was more juice for the man. Nettle, apple, lemon.
This is me cutting up nettle stems with the gloves on so I don't get stung!

I cut the stems up because they are very fibrous, like celery, the strings will wrap around the thing in the juicer and la, la, la. Not good.
I had a smoothie made from
1 cup fresh tender nettle tops
1 cup fresh mint
2 tbs rolled oats
5 chopped dates
20 oz water
blend.
The oats make it really creamy.

We are trying to make beer. This time with wheat and barley. So I have this giant bowl of cooked wheat and barley. I can't throw it away, it's perfectly good food!

That is about half of the stuff, the rest in in the dehydrator. I figured I could store it when it's dry and use it at my leisure. Preserving foods ROCKS!
I mixed some of the wheat and barley berries with the pulp from juicing this morning.

I put them in the FP with an onion, salt, other things, and made patties, which I baked.

I put some frozen corn and some chopped up red bell peppers in there. I can't wait to eat one.

You come up with the most creative combos, and I love how you don't waste anything!
It was good. Next time I will use less water and toss in a banana.
