I had a glass of water with vinegar and then some strawberries about half a cup or so. We were up early this morning and I did ten 15 minutes of Denise Austin Power Yoga Plus with the boy. He says he doesn't want to do yoga but then he sees me and says "that's easy" and comes and does poses with me, so it's fun. After he went to school, 45 minutes on the mat this morning. I did the program that I have laid out which is:
Asana to the sun
seated:
sitting neck rolls
butterfly
lying twist
rock and roll
pelvic tilt
knee press
spinal twist
standing:
half moon
dog stretch
the tree
pose of tranquility
breathing, which i have trouble sitting through and I should be doing it now.
I am watching short films here . That link goes to Vegsource.com
I had juice today. Celery, carrot, apple, beet root
First the three carrots, then the beet

Then the apple

Then all the celery, like half a head.

And there it is

I like to play with the foam.

Then mix it up, take a photo of it on that shaft of light that hits your washing maching and drink it

A really nice juice. It's sweet and a little tart from the apple. It doesn't have the offsetting green color because of the beets and there is a lot of green leafy from the celery. Plus the foam on top is downright psychedelic.
Dinner last night was sunflower patties, salad and a whole potato baked with a big clove of garlic.
My plate

That is a sesame sauce on top of the patty and a roma tomato slice.
The potato and garlic

Everything was good but the patties were dry and a little bland. I didn't put an onion in and that was just wrong. Never forget the onion. Nobody wanted to eat them. I put them in the fridge, I will break them up into seitan sausage or something, I guess. Nothing goes to waste, right?
I used the pulp from juicing this morning to make some more raw patties for me and I used the rest to bake a vegan meatloaf with a special cheesy surprise inside for the omnivores.
I'm not doing so good on staying raw with the baked potato. I also had a slice of toast with peanut butter. Not much really but a set back in my mind.
Stretch. Fall forward.

Your meals look so wonderfully filling! And I totally agree with you: NEVER forget the onion! It's my favorite vegetable. I also like the way you use leftovers; we do the same to minimize waste.
Thanks, Maria. I try to make enough so the omnivores are full.
Leftovers are strange. Sometimes you want some for lunch tomorrow but someone has already eaten it and sometimes they sit around for a couple days and then go in the blender to become a soup stock. Either way, they get used.
I know I never made hamburgers without putting an onion in the meat. It makes it juicy and tasty. The same goes with vegeburgers.
