I have to start all over again. I have seeds and dirt and it's just a
matter of putting the two together with water, but it's sad that I am
so forgetful and they all had to die. What a waste.
The boy suggested a funeral.
Smoothie this morning was avocado, banana, beet greens, apple, lemon juice, ginger, red lettuce, dates, Renew Me, E3 AFA, sunflower seeds and ground flax seeds. It was a brown smoothie cuz of the beets.
I gave half to the man and put the rest in the fridge for me. That was when I realized the plants were all gone.
Then I got the boy ready for school, trying not to cry. I am pretty tore up about the plants. My bumper crop dreams, gone. I cried.
Once I got him off to school I came here, checked email, read some, chatted some and drank the rest of the smoothie.

Then I did an hour on the mat.

It went faster today because I didn't have to look at the instructions so there is progress.
I
love the dog stretch. I love the cat stretch. I love the fish stretch.
There was a time, not very long ago, when I couldn't do neck rolls.
Seriously, could not let my head hang back and relax. It hurt too much.
Now I can. I could walk fine, I could lift things, I just didn't have
mobility in my neck. Since I lost weight and started stretching and
moving this way I have a lot more mobility in my neck, shoulders, hips.
I
want to run but I have no motivation here because the road is so
dangerous and it's so cold. In the city I could get out in the early
morning, before the sun came up and run all over the city. There are no
sidewalks here. It's like two miles to the park over a dangerous two
lane road. There is no way I would go out there in the dark.
Anyway.
After
mindful breathing exercise I got up and made some juice, celery,
carrot, beet greens, beet root and ginger. I'm drinking that now and
it's pretty yummy. Nice and warm.

I
used the pulp to make some raw burgers for dinner tonight. I will have
mine on collard leaf, others may follow my lead or have it on store
bought bread, because I am out of cream of tartar.
Raw Burgers

They look meaty, don't they. It's beet meat. heh, heh, heh.
Shut up, Beavis.
This is pulp from juicing celery, carrot, beet root and greens, and ginger
In FP with
1/2 small beet root chopped
2 cloves garlic
one med onion chopped
one roma tomato chopped
2/3 cup walnuts
1 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp salt optional
form
patties on parchment paper and dehydrate at 125F, or lower if you
prefer, until you can handle and they don't fall apart. I will update
with the times tonight.

I made a loaf of bread that didn't really rise. It was made with vege pulp from juicing,
so it was tasty, but flat and very dense. Last night I cut it into 3x4"
squares and baked it with some thin sliced onions, cubes of vegan sausage, a little olive oil, a little water and salt. Baked at 350F with a lid for about 2 hours. It was chewy but tasty.
There is a large salad with sauerkraut and tomato/cuke salad, quinoa pilaf and some reheated leftovers on the side.
I'm
really trying to be raw. High raw, anyway, with spices and a bit of
oil. I'm not going to be all fanatical about it, lol. But, seriously, I
have fallen off the wagon and I need to hoist myself back up.
So, today, so far I have had, a smoothie, juice and three bananas. I guess that is a good breakfast, dang.
and now since the mouse is almost out of batteries, I will post .
