Farewell...

I gave my old Ronco a hug and thanked it for the months of service and the untellable amount of education it gave me then I put it on a high shelf in the garage. Good bye, my old friend. I remember when I found you, $12.99 at goodwill, I was so thrilled...

But now I got this
yay.

Soo, after a couple of hours of jumping up and down with happiness, I figured I should give it a name. It says Lem on top, so Lemmy it is. *

Then I made some raw vege "fries" using, sort of, the breading recipe I found here

half cup of ground flax
2 tbs nutritional yeast
2 tsp lemon pepper. **

I sliced some red bell pepper and dredged the slices in the breading

Then I put them on a shelf, on parchment paper

and set Lemmy at 125F.

An hour later:

I call it lunch. raw breaded bell pepper, raw cauliflower, some flax crackers and marinara

I will try it with avocado for dinner tonight.

Footnotes:
*Just like that dude from Megadeth, the one with the nasty mole on his face, y'know? All I'm saying is if you have all that money from being the dude from Megadeth, get that darn grape cut off of your face, that's all I'm saying. Peace, Lemmy. I named my dehydrator after you, in a completely unrelated incident. Rock on.
**It's some commercial brand that sits in the cupboard, I'm trying to use it up. I figure putting it on snacks is the way to go :P

  2. Oh, VN, I made avocado fries for dinner later and I can't wait to eat them.

Dehydrator opens a whole new world but you can do some stuff with the oven at the lowest temp, but a Lemmy is my new boyfriend, lol

    Cheers!
