Ok, then. I am all moved in to my new home.
Well, there is still a u haul in the driveway, but I am here and my stuff is three quarters in the garage and I'm taking a break and having lunch. I made a big salad with cauli, red bell, zuke, carrot and romaine with a dressing of half an avo, a squeeze of lemon and some cayenne pepper.
Nummers. I wish I had my camera cord so I could share with you love lovely photo but, alas.
Last Monday... I think it was monday... my motherboard went to the great motherboard graveyard in the sky and that is why I have been completely incommunicado. My phone is also not working because of where I am. I am going to try to keep my number but you can always email me at onewetleg AT gmail.com
I'm still around and still raw (mostly. I ate cooked vegan the day of and the day after thanksgiving. MIL, as it were, took us all to the culinary acadamy for dinner. It was buffet, wonderful, pricy at 40 bucks a person but that included drinks, which included unlimited wine and hard liquor samples. woot! I had a glass of white and a sip of some sambuco. I had three huge plates of baby greens that had some carmelized walnuts and there was someone there rolling up sushi to order so i ordered some with just cuke and avo in nori. Twas brilliant. The dessert table nearly pushed me over the edge, but I resisted. I kept taking the kids to the table to get them more desserts, just thinking, cheesecake would be so good and it wouldn't hurt me any. Then i remembered that being vegan isn't about me and I passed :) still vegan!!! yay. It's been two months now and thankfully, my BF and his family are totally into vegan and raw, I hope to join the co op soon and things are going to be VEGERIFFIC!!!
oof. typing with caps is exhausting. I am so tired and have so much work ahead of me still. It would be so easy to just fall in this bed and watch cable tv and eat and surf the internet getting caught up on the week I have been gone. But I gave myself an hour for lunch and that hour is almost up, my salad is almost gone and this entry is over
Cheers! I missed you guys!

You MADE it to your new home! Yaay! As for unpacking...one day at a time. You don't have a ton of stuff though, do ya? Enjoy your lovely new environment.
ReplyDeleteAwesome zuccinni pasta, by the way. Pasta is my favorite, being Italian and all. I actually love wheat noodles, too.
