Terrible photo, wonderful drink!Next time you get a cantaloupe (or some other kind of sweet melon) save the seeds and pulp that you scoop out of the inside.
Keep them in the fridge and the next morning you can have this lovely smoothie:
Put the seeds and pulp of one melon into the blender * with about a cup of filtered water.
Blend well and strain with colander, cheesecloth, nut milk bag, whatever
Put the strained seed juice back in the blender and add one chopped small carrot 4 dates and 2 ice cubes.
Blend the blue blazes out of it, pour in your favorite glass and, oh, my is that goooood!
* That link is to the Eating Bender site where they are having a blender give away. I entered, you should to. Even if you don't want the Vita-Mix blender, you could give it to me. :)
