A big salad, some casserole made of leftovers and a bunch of fresh grilled veges!

This would have been perfect with some potato salad
On the grill was sweet corn, thick onion slabs, orange bell pepper, zucchini

I got a lot of exercise today. At least an hour on the trampoline, an hour on the mat and some time with the ball, too. I didn't want to get off of the trampoline today.
NICE! I have never done a big vegan bbq/grillfest. but one day...! nice job.
ReplyDeletehaving turned vegan only 2 months ago, my family had their first meaty barbeque without me last week - i felt a bit sad as it was always a family occasion - this post inspires me to make loads of vegan options to wow my family - they probably won't even realise it's vegan!!
ReplyDeleteKathy, it's fun. I am lucky, i have an electric grill in the kitchen so it's easier for me.
ReplyDeleteAmy, There are so many sides and salads you can take to a barbecue. I can't remember who said it but the definition of a vegetarian is someone who eats only side dishes (hehe). Bring sliced veges nice, thick slabs, in tupper-ware-type containers and put them on the grill at barbecues. They are close to the meat but what the heck, it's a party. Put the grilled veges on a bun with lettuce and you are fitting right in!
Oh, and don't get me started on grilled bananas. YUM!!
