Benefits of Tulsi Tea
(Holy Basil Tea)
Tulsi tea, which originated in India thousands of years ago, is known for its rich antioxidant and adaptogenic properties that are known to promote wellness by building the body’s immune system, reducing stress and promoting mental clarity.
It is recognized as one of India's most sacred herbs because of its health benefits and healing properties.
Tulsi Tea's antioxidants protect cells from the damage caused by free radicals that facilitate the cause and progression of various types of diseases.
Also referred to as holy basil tea, this herbal brew’s adaptogens serve as powerful anti-stress agents that protect your body from a wide range of health concerns.
The adaptogens guard against and deal with physical, chemical, environmental, and emotional factors that produce high levels of stress that compromise physical and mental health.

I have had a hard time finding the Tulsi Tea, I had to go online to look for it because we don't have any natural and whole foods shops in the area that I live in. However, in my search for the tea, I stumbled upon RawPeople, a networking site for Raw Foodists. I figured I should share the love as I wait for my tea to arrive!

Hi! I found your blog through my friend GoGoZoe (you responded to her soy post.) I have been getting really into teas lately so I appreciate your post. I looked into a little more and used this academic search engine..sweetsearch.com...(I'm a phd drop out) but I found this bit saying that green tea blocks benefits of cancer drugs..
ReplyDeleteany thoughts on that? i'll check back for comments.
Thanks!
Glauce, I will check that out, thanks :)
ReplyDeleteAndrea, I got mine from my DIL who probably bought it over the internet. Thanks for the link, I will check it!
RB, thanks for stopping by! I didn't know there were any benefits to cancer drugs?
I am reading John Tobe's book on the prevention of Cancer (raw food, no cigs or other chemicals, no aluminum). He claims that people can live for many years with undetected cancer that is only discovered in autopsy after death from an unrelated cause, such as stroke or heart attack.
Once cancer is detected and the surgeons begin to cut, it metastasizes and that's when things start going wrong.
I am just learning about nutrition myself and know VERY little about green tea. I drink herbal teas, such as black raspberry leaf, nettle, chamomile, etc. I only have Green and black tea in the house because they were gifts.
greeen juice makes me feel so good, do have any tips on how to make it the best for you anybody???? I just started my 4 week journey so I am curious
