The boy, kicking ice.

I like to get out a little early so we don't miss the bus and so he has time to play around a little. It's a good habit to teach the boy, I think. Be early, not late. Then you have time to have a little fun instead of running around trying to remember what you forgot.
Our stop sign. The berm is high and very black. They put cinders on the ground here. I suppose because it is a volcanic region and cinders are cheep, but I'm just guessing.

Sunrise and sunset here are always so pretty and pink

The snow grew ice crystals, like grass or coral. It was very pretty and all over the ground

Frozen fog

That is the lake out there, you can't really see it.
View from the driveway

The waning moon in the sunrise. Goodnight Moon! See you tomorrow.

The deer take a short cut across the ice.

It gives a new meaning to "STAY AWAY FROM THE CRACK"
hehe.
It was warm. We had a week or so in the 40s. I thought the snow would melt. No, I really didn't think that. This snow will linger on until spring.
the frozen grass is so cool! It is so cold here, too. I wish it would warm up so our snow would melt.
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous... What a beautiful place to live. Here in L.A. it's fucking HOT again this week. 85 and above. The only people who 'love this weather' are the outta towners who've been here 5 lousy years or less. Ah, but enough complaining. Beautiful shots.
ReplyDeleteThanks, ladies. Always nice to be noticed
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
